Our Intermediate Digital SLR Photography Workshop is the next step up from our beginner's Digital SLR photography workshop.

This is a practical intermediate photography Workshop led by Alan Taylor, a working professional portrait & wedding photographer.

The workshop goes more in-depth on how to get the best from your digital SLR camera. The workshop is suitable for those who want to gain more knowledge of photography and would like to get more from their camera.

To begin, we will revisit the basic digital SLR skills briefly;

Aperture
Depth of Field
Shutter Speed
ISO

You will then be taught about white balance, how to use a hot shoe flash and fill-in flash.

We will go more in-depth on how to use :

Looking at the camera menu system
Making a new folder on our SD card
Changing settings to help you
Back button focus
Choosing different lenses
Depth of field
Camera lengths
Camera angles
Using a light meter and shooting on manual

This intermediate digital SLR photography workshop is a practical hands-on workshop, so you will be able to use your new-found photography skills in and around Lincoln with Alan by your side.

At the end of the day, there will be a Q & A session before leaving at 4 pm and handouts will be provided for future reference.

Minimum age 16.
Participants need basic photography experience and must have a Digital SLR camera and hot shoe flash.
The course will begin at the studio, but much of it will take place outdoors, so please dress appropriately and wear suitable footwear.
